Im super curious as to why we haven’t revisited the fact that Osiris gave Seth the ability to have a child lol
I’m pretty sure he intended it to be HIS child but yeah. I went way back to the beginning and the whole Seth’s seed is a flower that Osiris controls and Nephthys’ fertility was given to Seth to bind Seth to Osiris through the new child they’d create with Anubis’ spare parts scenario was like never seen again.
Ohhh right dammmmm i forgot that happened. Osiris was so fcking insane and absolutely evil for this. Not only he took nephyths fertility but robbed seth's own seed as well making him infertile so that neph would have no choice but cheat to conceive anubis... tbh osiris n neph both wanted to babytrap seth. Both has this assumption that seth wants family and children even tho that isnt the case deep down if we go by layers. Theres this profound loneliness n sadness etched in seths soul which horus said he saw when his eye opened for the first time. Sometimes I think about why seth felt thaat disconnected far off and lonely subconsciously
Have you seen the translated hieroglyphics from twitter? I believe there was a little hint that before he ascended, he may have had a consenting relationship with Osiris (ugh) and there may have been someone hurt to keep it a secret. I wonder if that profound loneliness is due to losing someone he took under his wing, and they’re trying to baby trap him to help him forget. I mean he appears to WANT to be a good dad in earlier interactions with Anubis, and he’s willing to constantly throw himself away to keep him safe.
Anyway, I’m insanely impatient for season 3.
Yesss i have!!! Im always engaging with theories on twitter and the hieroglyphic murals. For me im still a staunch believer that the murals werent hinting abour a relationship between osiris and Seth. Instead I think horuseth mightve been a thing n osiris out of jealousy is involved in the murder of horus..theres a mural that mentions how an elder brother who found his younger brother who tagged behind him annoying slowly grew fond of him overtime n taught him". They never mentioned which siblings were referred to so a lot of ppl think its osiris seth or it could be horus n seth too since horus is the youngest... and ofc he is a good dad. That bit is part of who seth is. He isnt inherently evil and he makes a good dad but him wanting children or kids isnt necessarily what he wishes deep down ykwim? That was what osiris n nephyths assumed about ssth n were racing each other to baby trap him in their own ways thinking this'll maks him happy fulfilled or make him stay. But horus was the first one who made a comment about his loneliness he saw when his eye opened during that one childhood flashback
