I understand where your coming from. Being free from all that and live comfortably.

But, I can not just ignore the disrespect the ML regarded all of Yeomin's hard work. Yeomin's life is hard, sure. But he did not made that as an excuse to milk his lover in order to be rid of all his problems. He is positive about his life, proud of his hard work, and very unapologetic. The squirrel fights back.

The ML disregarding his struggle, which he did all his life just to survive, is beyond heartbreaking.

Yeomin's point here is the total sabotage the ML made out of his so called "help". He basically trampled on all of Yeomin's deducation to better his life just because he has everything an money comes easy on him.

I respect your opinion but I will say a couple things. Personally, I didn't care as much when the ML payed off all the debt. But the scholarship was a little too much. All the MC wanted was a normal life in college. This scholarship ruined any chance of him having a peaceful time in college when everyone knows that the scholarship was made specifically for the MC. From what I understand, the reason why the MC wants to "pull the plug" is because that was where I think the ML crossed a line. Helping the MC get back on his feet by paying off the debt is one thing, it's a nice gesture that anyone can appreciate, even the MC. But something like a scholarship where so many students try their hardest to get, to be made and given only for one student is of course gonna cause discourse amongst other students, making the MC a literal outcast, the opposite of what the MC wants.ヽ(`Д´)ﾉ

I strongly agree with you.

I agree that it was rude that the ML disregard all of the MC hard work, but they come from two totally different worlds. Granted, that’s not an excuse, but putting all the blame on the ML isn’t fair either. In his own(selfish) way, the ML did acknowledge that MC was struggling, that’s why he paid off the loan and created the scholarship. He wasn’t aware that it would cause a problem for MC because for him, having money tossed at a problem to fix it is normal for him. That’s why he doesn’t see the problem and why I feel like he shouldn’t be treated that harshly. Granted, he has treated the MC bad in other ways, but this issue is being blown out of proportion to me. It’s like how everyone was crying about Jinx saying that Joo Jaekyung was r-word Kim Dan. Kim Dan agreed to it and was completely aware of what he signed up for. I’m not saying everything Joo did to Kim Dan was right, but not everything he did to him was wrong either.

Valid point, but I can apply that same logic to other people who are struggling with debt like the MC. They’re working just as hard to pay off someone else’s debt, but no one is helping them. I’m willing to bet if MC had someone whom he was familiar with and he complained to them how ML paid off his debt and even created a scholarship for him, they would be rightfully pissed off. In a span of a couple weeks, MC went from being destitute to a life of luxury because he managed to gain a rich guy’s favor. We all saw how MC was upset that he was struggling to pay his father debt while trying to survive and how badly he wanted the scholarship, he got both, but wants to cry and run away after his illusion about the ML was shattered. The ML never pretended to be someone he’s not, the MC decided to ignore the red flags, the same way I do when I read any toxic red or black yaoi. But at least I don’t try to sugarcoat it like MC did by ignoring those flags because of his love for the ML.
