He was a high schooler then but the mc didn't know that at first bcs of his height and when he knew he thought it was "too late" plus it was the last year of high school. That's why the ml is still in college rn, still a student. But the mc is not much different in age. He said he ran away from his during high school so I'm guessing 2-3 yrs age difference?
