He was hurt and felt betrayed by the one person he not only admired, but also loved after accepting his sexuality, he felt like he was just being used to give pressure, that's all he knows, because it would hurt too much to open up to someone again, to have someone play with your feelings when you were being your most vulnerable self with them. That's why when Ai comes into his world, an upfront guy that is willing to give everything for him, it's weird for Akihiko I've seen a lot of comments saying that it feels too one sided, but I feel like that's the whole point. Akihiko is just starting to let himself be loved, that's why he doesn't stop Ai from doing what he wants at the end, WHICH IS SHOWING HIM HIS LOVE FOR AKIHIKO, and even offers the three month DATING trial, AKIHIKO IS WILLING TO LET THE PAST GO, HE'S WILLING TO HAVE THE POSSIBILITY OF HURTING HIMSELF AGAIN FPR THE SAKE OF LOVING AND BEING LOVED BY AI !!!!
