That’s what confirmed it actually. This author used to do KuroDai art and their other work with a reversible couple was a KuroDai expy. They deleted all their Haikyuu fanart when they became a fulltime BL author tho.

I can tell that the author loves KuroDai from Haikyuu and reskinned the Hero x Demon King from the fantasy world AU in the series.
