I’ve actually already read the final bonus volume of the main story. The author really idolizes Doona (I think Doona is a representation of the author herself). Doona’s relationship with Haseol remains stagnant and unchanged (what were you thinking with that ending, author?). Doona still loves Minho, and vice versa (the author prefers the toxic Minho x Doona relationship, but it seems she was confused about how to wrap it up because of Wookyung/Haseol, and she wasn’t satisfied enough with how much she’d “bullied” Minho’s character in the main story). If Doona were alone without Haseol, not much would change (according to the author, which suggests Haseol doesn’t come across enough like a main character)—unlike Wookyung and Minho, who the author thinks will likely get married (something Wookyung really wants), and Minho is starting to feel comfortable and grateful to be with Wookyung. The Haseol-Doona couple only reaches the level of an S&M relationship. The author also portrays Minho’s character negatively on several occasions. And Wookyung is the most complex character the author has ever created, and he has his own path to achieving his goals (as if Wookyung doesn’t want to be controlled by the author).
