I agree, but I do think that giving Yeomin and unfair scholarship is belittling as hell </3
Imagine studying your ASS off for this scholarship and when you finally get it, you feel like you earned it and deserve to keep your place at this school, then you realize that you never got it through your own hard work, but through a sponsor. Then you realize your debts were never taken care of and your father never cleaned up his act; things were forcibly "made right" by someone you thought respected your character. It's essentially pulling the rug from under mc's feet by taking away the chance to prove himself :(
You're so right abt ml not being gentle, though. All he had to say was "I don't like seeing you struggle, and this is the only way I feel like I can help" and that would've settled the whole issue, but OBVIOUSLY this emotionally constipated leaning tower of PENIS couldn't fathom saying anything like that rn :/
I get that our bunny is decent and because of this he believes in hard work to earn your things. But it never hurts to get a helping hand. Having said that, the problem is that our hunky seme has not declare his love for yeomin (whatever his name is I’m so bad with names). So our bunny feels like a whore something that he isn’t. Then it doesn’t help that the seme isn’t caring enough to say it gently or count with him. Yes the bunny denied all help, but still.
