I’ve reread this manhwa only twice, and I don’t think I can ever bring myself to read it again—not because it isn’t worth rereading or because I didn’t like it. Quite the opposite, I genuinely loved it. But what happened to that actor completely broke my heart.
The uke bullied him, sexually humiliated him in front of everyone, insulted him, and treated him horribly. And then, in the end, we find out that this same actor dies?! He never even gets to see the movie, let alone receive an apology from the uke. That genuinely hurt me so much.
Usually, when I love a manhwa, I reread it over and over again, but I simply can’t do that with this one. I don’t know if everyone else just moved past it because they love the uke, but I could never get over what happened to that actor.
Throughout the entire story, I kept hoping the uke would sincerely apologize to him and maybe even help him get a better opportunity as a way of making amends. But instead, the seme was the one who gave him a role, and the uke never even apologized to him. It almost felt as if the role was being given to him as charity rather than as a genuine apology or attempt to make amends. And then, on top of everything, we’re hit with the revelation that he dies?!
