Even if that’s what he wanted, it doesn’t feel right bc Cheol has really bad self esteem, he deserves better than a vocal apology and acknowledgement of what happened when his life has literally been fucked over. He’s traumatized, isolated, he never got a proper job despite his intelligence and education, and overall just have no solid footing in his life meanwhile minyeong had managed to become what he is today rich with a stable job and a social circle, things that he doesn’t even want but what Cheol would’ve had and probably needed if he didn’t just did what he did. Minyeong is selfish to think that he could save Cheol by doing all that and I get it that’s the whole point, but like, I just wish to see Minyeong struggle a little bit with trying to get Cheol back and just see Cheol grow a backbone or something.
Yes you're right but it was explained earlier that he didn't want to apologize or even think of making it a heartfelt speech of an apology cause he knew that cheol would fold and give in either way. I mean yes he's been through a lot but that just shows us more of how desperate he is for love and in this case min young's love that even after doing him so wrong just him saying sorry makes him forgive him that easily
