Short summary: ML is calamity in human form, he brings bad luck to anyone around him. MC took him in in a past life and showed him kindness and emotion then banished him when bad luck struck the village and people started worshipping him. Present day, calamity was waiting to vanish since a god that isn't thought about by humans ceases to exist but instead he just reset. MC found him again and took him in. When that guy at the carnival performed the ritual calamity's memories came back. He doesn't want to be calamity anymore so he's going to make MC hate him enough to kill him.
