This will be a pure and honest review regarding this manhwa and my own opinions on it. I have read comments from others stating they dropped it while others said that its good. I'll start off with the following sentence: I'm enjoying the whole thing.
Lee PD was sent back in time with a system and he must create an "ultimate trashy drama", however things aren't going his way. As in, everything is going too good for him and welll.. his trashy drama isn't trashy anymore. Which serves as an issue.
What I saw a lot of people talk about was the romance aspect/who the female lead is. I will be upfront with you, the development for MC and Dona is not as bad as others are making it out to be IN MY OPINION. The claims that the build-up was forced didn't ring true for me. They start off as colleagues, then as friends, Lee PD does a lot of things for Dona and this leads to her liking him. This is a very typical romance progression and nothing was particularly forced! If anything, I would argue that wanting his ex-wife in his past-life or making Lee Seol the female lead is FORCING it instead.
If his ex-wife was the female lead, I would have no qualms with it. HOWEVER. MC states that both him and her have their own paths in their current life and doesn't show that much interest towards her. Lee Seol on the other hand, if youre planning to read this, it seems as if there was a mentor/parental relationship between her and the MC. Of course, the author could've developed this by going the "well they could've been childhood friends" route BUT they didn't. The moment these occurrences happened and Dona was being framed as closer to Lee PD I immediately got the memo who the female lead was going to be. The progression with Dona is COMPLETELY NORMAL.. a lot of the complaints are overblown (in my opinion).
Overall: I would say to read. Its funny, MC is a good person, the cast are all interesting, and they all want to grow because of each other. I'm currently reading and I love it.
