I lowkey thought that the hundreds of other tapes they found in the storeroom would be a much bigger obstacle than it was. I was thinking they’d have to test each one out to figure out each of their original tapes // other than that, this was a really good read. I could tell by the author’s notes that they had been receiving a lot of criticism but i genuinely think this has one of the most unique plots I’ve ever read. I had to take notes while reading in order to keep track of things but still found myself eagerly reading on to find out what happened next
