this story is stupid and a waste of good art, but after reading the comments admonishing the fact that they're step-siblings and saying that they grew up together so they should only have a family relationship, i just had to say something as someone who has step-siblings
they didn't actually grow up together, they were already both, or at least the ml was already a teenager who grew up without her
i also got step siblings in my teens (i was 15, my full brother was 17, my step siblings were 9, 13 and 14) and i absolutely don't consider them my family at all, eventho we lived together for 4 years. they're just my mom's partner's children and that's all they'll ever be, in fact i don't even call them my step siblings when referring to them, ever.
also, it's obvious from the start to everyone but the stupid fl that he was "adopted" as a an heir and thus her fiance and not as a brother. especially since he isn't even from a branch family so he has no blood claim to the title. he's a son-in-law, adopted into the family so the family keeps its name, plain and simple.
