But then why keep giving readers false hope by announcing that you’re going to return on a specific date, only to not post anything? It’s happened not once or twice, but multiple times. If you need a break, just take one. You don’t owe anyone an update every week, or even every few months. Give us a tentative timeline even if you say, “I might be back in two years” and I’d be completely fine with that.
