I think Geonwu needs to gain some self worth, but, at the same time, I can see why he wouldn't have confidence in Taejun. Everything the guy has done is lay a strict boundary between them in their relationship and reiterate he doesn't like anything complicated. Is it entirely Taejun's fault to be so unaware? No, but there comes a point where you have to risk something for once and be honest about your own feelings. Geonwu certainly isn't going to after being told over and over again that Taejun wasn't interested.
