This amnesia arc is actually done sorta right. Yeah it's kinda unnecessary at this point because it adds useless drama to a story that could've ended easily without it, but. But. I feel like it's good because we can see what could've been if Tennesse had accepted ML's affections from the get-go. It also shows us how much he actually gaf for him
