the plot and the story itself is awful. i think this author should stick to writing smut stories… or do a better job at coming up with plots, because even if it’s a short story, babe you could’ve done a much better work, really. what is this stupid arc chase ? literally made no sense but okay
im usually fine with this author’s stories but i can’t accept age gaps, this was gross as hell and so disappointing, i couldn’t get into the story at all because i kept thinking about the fact that jiwan raised taeyang, just for them to end up together.
even if they hadn’t meet in the past, 20 yo x 27 yo is absurd. someone who is almost 30 should never date a literal teenager that just turned into an adult. i’m currently 19, turning 20 in a few months, and im still a kid, like the gap between a 20 yo and someone that’s going to enter his 30s is so big, you have no idea.
i already had the ick, but reading about their backstories was the icing on the cake, literally. jiwan said many times that he saw taeyang like his little brother, that he practically raised him. SO WHY ARE YOU INTO HIM???? this is sickening and i can’t stand this trope at ALL.
sure, i enjoyed jiwan’s backstory, it was heartbreaking and sad, but ffs why did the author had to make them have a such big age gap…
although, i also enjoyed the kid trope. many authors don’t know how to draw kids, they always look so small and weird, like not childlike at all. i found this kid pretty cute, so it’s nice to see that in a bl. but that’s all…………
anyways, 2 stars is already too much, i don’t get why people call this peak, its not even that good excluding the age gap. the pacing threw me off as well… idk its just not well written.
