Totally agree—imo Garam’s forgiveness is not a sign of naivety or sycophancy, but completely the opposite—maturity and poise that many of the grown ass people in this story, years older than him, can never hope to achieve. There’s a reason Garam’s a gem—his sound is the way it is because he is the vehicle for it
Garam is truly such a beautiful soul, forgiving and strong at the same time. There's very few people that has this kind of compassion and forgiveness in their hearts to forgive and understand the shortcomings of other humans, without falling in hatred and vengeful thoughts. That's why he's so special and remarkable protagonist but even like that for me what Heejae did, forget he made the scar in Garam's face, the pain he caused in Garam, is truly heartbreaking.
I hope professor at some point understand the graveness and extensity of the hurtfulness in his ways of acting and apologize to Garam.
