why not try the nice route first

I mean I understand the ml is evil. But why not go the nice route first before plunging to insanity. Like you could even do a mix. Like a little forceful but mostly nice. Why do we go straight to the nuclear option. It doesn't even make sense. Like at least test things out the normal way first vro
