I think the reason this feels like it has no story is because every single interaction between the two is done in as much detail as possible They exchange so much dialogue and respond to every single thing that a 10 minute interaction in-universe takes an an entire chapter sometimes
I’m not rly complaining because I like the art and I don’t care tbh, but atp the only plot is Will they won’t they
