this is one of the very few bl manhwas where the top/bottom roles don't mirror cishet gender roles, like most of the queer stories written by straight women do. no this isn't me taking a dig at the bl authors this is just an observation. i love how seoan is like the definition of a man who loves to provide and protect, he's reliable, sensible, mature etc. its like the author understands that the act of penetration isn't an act of dominance/submission, but rather, its about pleasure. dont get me wrong, i love bl manhwas, i read anything as long as its fictional and enjoyable. but as a cis women i understand that you cannot take out the patriarchy and misogyny(yes, misogyny) out of even the queer media pieces, and this realization upsets me so much
