I wish he woulda told the lover more about his character and how his part is played in the "story/book" maybe he would be more lenient and try not to act the part of the book or jump to conclusions too quickly bc he was told beforehand.. I haven't read since he woke up in the forest with memory loss, (TRYING to marinate) so idk what's going on in the new chaps...but I can only imagine since dude never told him he's a character in the story toooo I love the Mangas where they actually tell if they were from another world, or like wtf is really going on, but if you were going to tell him, you shoulda went all ouuuttt! His part is the main part you need to be trying to avoid! Uuugghhh my heart !!
