It's black and white, I think manga - it took place in a village by the sea, and iirc there were some monsters by the sea? And every village had a person with white hair who wouldn't age, who would come out at night and prevent the monsters from coming out of the sea. But the more they did it,the more their body would turn black, starting from the hands. And they were living alone and kind of ostracized. And when the blackness would go too far, they would die. And in "our" particular village there lived a black haired boy who would visit the white haired guy, and the more time they spent together, the more the blackness on his body would disappear. And then there was a time skip and the kid was grown up and they started falling for each other. That's what I remember, does anyone remember the title...? Idk how to look for it, even...
