Vision horizontale

I think it is important to be truthful in terms of relationships.

What's a fact is that nobody owes anything to anyone else. But, when u think and act like that, u either hang with people like that too, or u don't hang with others at all. People live in community, they get entangle to one another. It is indeed selfish to get linked to someone else deeply without respecting the love and consideration others give. At some point, we all have responsibilities towards those we choose to share much.

What I think is true, is that, Sarah raised Benjamin and Oliven when they were children, while Belluna might have been older, as Head Elder, she was still what they believed as their parental figure. So it is understandable than they would worry and want to comprehend the reasons to, what they view as being abandoned, left behind. Sarah did not owe them profound details, but as a parental figure, she owed them a proper goodbye. At the end, it was also a question of growing up, and grieving about what is now behind them.

What is also true, is, that, they were reckless and dangerous, and impatient in their choices. They hurt people. I don't remember properly if they killed people, but whatever they did, was bad stuff, and properly fucked up in si many ways. And no amount of love and sadness can be used as a valid crash out, as, to why they did that. They are grown, or still growing, and we all have to live with the consequences of our choices. So, it was not okay at all to endanger others. I can't imagine the amount of PTSD Claude could have had just because of that bad encounter, in his mansion blowing up, with these intruders ready to kidnap the person he loves as a mother figure.
So I see where they come from. I do. But I don't excuse these behavior. It could be criminal offenses they could be charged with and get time for trespassing and breaking stuff, threatening, assaulting. Sarah was kind in forgiving them. I can view why she would be like...she views them disciples as somewhat her own children. And she acknowledges that miscommunication was a wrong move. Yet, just like a parent, she takes almost half of their wrong deeds as her fault, by being so light in their punishment. That's not healthy girl, u did ur best, but making mistakes does not lead to all of that. Can't someone draw as psychologist ? I fear, they are all in big need of some sessions.

Anyway...
I kinda like that Benjamin and Belluna are still kinda squeezing whatever they can, by staying at the manor and helping her and around the house, to push back a final goodbye, while making amends and growing a bit more. To love is heavy and difficult. More again when u realize that u have to go, so she can be something else than their father or mother, and so, they can become better at being themselves. To grieve is the prince of love.

(careful... hate on sight...)

What I will never stop to hate toward the end is : Oliven. One man's selfishness brought Sarah's to this point. Not once, but in every lifetime. He is lowkey a sociopath. And I don't blame the poor environment in which he had to survive. It shapes u to survive like that. But how I blame, and, despise how one man's felt so superior he had to bring such misfortunes until the end without grabbing the opportunities offered so he could redeem himself. He had to go all the way down the line, didn't he ?. I had my last straw with him when he started being sketchy and loco alone. He could have grown. He could have been... better. But no. He had to put the one that raised him to another breaking point. Yet, he had the audacity to be like "kill me, otherwise I will do it again." And the worst part is, I wished his possible death had brought an ending to everybody's misery, but it did not. How is his ego so big that he thinks that killing him will resolve anything for us and the world ? Selfish bastard. U ought to be buried alive while never dying and see how everybody can be truly be happy without u. How is one man bringing a magical f*cking axe to kill a 5 y.o, gets to tremble when he almost murders his only brother, Benjamin ? Oliven is the worst. How is it u have so many mommy issues that u think no man can marry her without ur permission ? What are u ???!! Five !!! I can go on, about how this character that is not enough morally grey is despicable. I have no empathy for tears that only flow because he understands that he caused his master to die. "Oh, sorry, I only wanted to destroy all u esteemed important to u, so I could be sure that u would pick me my dear MILF !" Insolent bastard. U are the worst piece of shif I ever got to meet, after Joo Dan Tae in the Penthouse. And even this evil got more empathy from me that Oliven could never get.

But above all. What I despise about all of this, whether it's Ethan, or Oliven, or the Emperor, is how bad they would be willing to say or do, to keep her by their side. It is scary and not cute at all.

I felt like the confession lost in emotions when Ethan blatantly said :"it is the last time I am letting u go voluntarily."

I am gonna hold ur hands when I say this... AS A WOMAN SHE IS FREE TO GO WHENEVER AND WHEREVER IT WOULD BE.

And I am not saying Ethan is like Oliven, I despise the obsessive kinda love that could trap a woman. So, yes, I hope he tones it down a bit more. However, Ethan can be the cutest while blushing because he makes her blush from all that flirting, still, sometimes, some sentences are kinda scary. I understand his background... still... I do admit how I enjoy how he becomes a more present dad to Claude. That's great. Still... if we forget it's a fiction, how is it that u need a feminine presence to be a good dad ?

Sarah is not weak. She is so badass. Fearless, the bravest, and the scariest woman of this world. She cares so much for the others. She is kind and smart, compassionate. I love what she did to May, how we come from hating her, to liking her thanks to Sarah. I was shocked, about, how she keeps on surprising me. It is difficult to not love such a beautifully character. For me, she embodies the lyrics of a song from the Epic musical: « I would fall in love with u, over and over again, I don't care how, where or when.» She also reminds me of the mad scientist, Hoouin Kyoma. To get through such hardships to bring happiness to the people u love the most. To love is indeed actions, and a very well chosen decision. Sarah is the sun, but they still all need to see a therapist.

Have a good day everyone!
