I really did not get this. What was the point of Jaehans character? Why was he like this? Why couldn't he feel anything prior to Heekyum? Because he lost his parents at young age? He doesn't even remember them. Why did he not receive any psychiatric or psychological help??? I feel like the "doesn't trust anyone, cause everyone wants something from him" point, did a looot of heavy lifting foe his character, without it being that great of an excuse or explanation.
Now Heekyum, why tf was he in love with him???? And exactly how was he going to further his career without Jaehan's help? Bitch without the reshoots, that movie would've been the final nail in your coffin. Also you were in debt, hello? Delusional. I don't know, I feel like a lot of stuff that happened and things that were said, were just for shock value. I struggle to find substance in this story. If anyone can enlighten me, I would love that.
Also very important question, did Jaehan really send his ex wife into an asylum???

Okay, let me explain a bit
    1. Jaehan’s character: he didn’t have parents so no one taught him how to love someone, and while growing up in this environment where everything is about money, he started feeling incapable of loving and also impossible of BEING loved. What he needed wasn’t a psychologist, but someone who he could rely on and who could make him feel love AND loved.
    2. Heekyum’ s love: why would someone need a reason to love someone? Most of the time you don’t know why you are in love with someone, because love isn’t reasonable. If you love someone because of their face or personality, that is NOT love, that’s desire. But Heekym loved Jehan. He loved his PERSONA, and that’s how he came to love even his wretched personality.

The problems with many readers is, that if they see a troublesome character it HAS to be because of some trauma or some tragic events. But that is not how life is. Not always anyway. I feel like this story was indeed very realistic, also about the distrust and doubting between them, something very common in today relationships. And yes, Jaehan did send her to an asylum, apparently.

First of all thank you so much for responding! Second of all, I wasn't exactly looking for a traumatic or tragic event that changed Jaehan, but I was looking for any sort of reason as to why he's filled with so much anger. I get not feeling loved or being able to love, therefore never feeling sadness but throwing someone into jail, into an asylum, punching your assistant are all extreme behaviors that I don't quite understand how he learned.
Now for Heekyum, ik love doesn't see reason etc., but they both fell for each other pretty instantly, sharing a glance at a party and then just fucking. So then they fell in love and you can't control what you feel, but you can control if you want to be in a relationship with them. Jaehan ruined so many careers, including Heekyums, how was he not angry or disappointed. He just kept accepting Jaehan's bullshit. Idk I get what your saying, I thought some of these things myself. I guess I don't understand this kind of love/relationship, it was an odd love for real lol.
