not to be a ungrateful bitch but this feels so cheap bro.... idk I don't like how the author is handling mokyeon as a character like enough is enough, no? I think I'm going to drop this, it doesn't feel like the whole mental health thing is being treated with grace and nuance, I really thought the story was going to do something interesting but it's just haha mental ill top regrets teehee buff bottom diva who is perfect

selling sad backstory, the MC basically trying to hurt themselves and ofc it was all the victim fault for not giving the attention MC needed ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
no punishment whatsover, like they mental health issue just magically disappear because the power of love... so very sweet (⌒▽⌒)

Where did you come up with the assumption that the author treats Nanjo as if he’s a perfect diva? We barely know shit abt him all we’ve seen is him suffering, with few happy moments

Totally agree. I really genuinely liked this title in S1 but the way this is being portrayed with Mokyeon’s suicidal tendencies because Nanjo won’t see him is making me extremely uncomfortable. He needs proper support and I hate that is probably going to be fixed with ‘oh Nanjo loves me now so everything is okay’ kind of deal. It just doesn’t feel like it’s being written in a serious way, idk. It’s hard for me to articulate why it’s bothering me so much.

the author is doing Nanjo a HUGE disservice by making him plain and flat af. We know nothing about this guy all we know is that he's wealthy successful with a moral compass protective and basically perfect, he's a blank canvas for mokyeon and sunwha to project and desire, and you can argue that that choice might be intentional that we are getting his pov soon but honestly at this point it's just lack of narrative skill, we got a whole season and like 7 chapters already and Nanjo is still boiled chicken breast he's just a victim

Gotcha I can deff agree with you there. The author deff has made him bland and it seems like they r doing that to brighten the Seme.
