Everything was going well, until chapter 4. (Okaken made Takahashi crossdress as a maid, and had intercourse with him while knowing he is with Shige. Disgusting. It's even more revolting that Takahashi didn't stop him + The part about mc protecting his little brother by becoming their guardian's lover in high school was totally uncalled for. The story would have been perfect if it was longer, focused on the main couple and didn't include all the tragic stuff (except for Haru's past).
