The reason why his eyes is black and not yellow is because his mom used poisonous eye drop to change his eye color, the side effect is he can’t see at night. His mother also cut his horns when he was young and the side effect is death or they go crazy because of pain.
The mc will slowly grow back his horns and his eyes will slowly turn back to how it originally is. Changing his eye color and cutting his horns was easier before because he was young but now he’s an adult so the consequences of changing them is risky.
The ML found out that the MC is yokai. How? Well, the guy (the partner of that guard) is actually the ML’s step brother, a half yokai just like our MC. The ML’s mother cheated on his human father because she got obsessed with a yokai, the reason for his hatred to yokai and the birth of that filthy affair is the half yokai brother. The yokai brother wants revenge and so he snitched on MC.
The ML is about to kill the MC when he found out about it. He thinks that he got seduced and played with a dirty entity just like what happened to his mother so when he’s about to kill him he found out that the MC got burned in a house, he thought the MC died but he actually manage to ran away, MC doesn’t want to die under the hands of his lover so he went into hiding.
Then the ML kept looking for MC, then he found him but the ML got sick (I think he got stab trying to save the MC from his fellow yokai who hate the ML). The MC faced the hatred of ML and ML can’t actually kill him so he imprisoned him.
Moving forward a conflict happened because MC’s eyes are yellow and his horns kept growing, its becoming harder for MC to hide his identity so the ML decided to send MC to the mountain. He lives there for years while ML is trying to clear the name of yokai, to make people less hate them. Soon, the ML became the protector if yokai’s, he’s even working with a yokai who wants to obtain freedom.
Then the ML went to the mountains to get our MC. Our MC still thinks that the ML hates seeing his horns and eyes so he kept hiding them, until one night the MC decided to cut his horns for the ML to accept him again (the ml is sweet and kind towards him, mf just don’t know how to communicate). The ML tried to stop him but the MC is already a bloody mess, shaking from pain, then he regret not communicating with him then he took him back to his mansion and they live there together
