The body gets aroused due to physical stimulation, doesn't always matter whether you want it or not. It's not unusual for rape victims to have complicated feelings about showing signs of arousal during the assault, some are even convinced it means they liked it. The mind does strange things in the face of traumatic events, the assaulter might even use it to their advantage
