ezra colluded with the kidnappers to lure grayson in an abandoned building to collect his semen cuz u know dominant alpha semen is expensive and sought for by people who likes to take advantage of dominant alphas, ezra was threatened because he borrowed alot of money for his wife's medical bills and he cannot take it anymore so he baited grayson using dane as an excuse cuz he's scared of what they'll do to his wife if he didn't do what they asked. but in the end ezra didn't listen to grayson that he could sell the necklace for his wife's medical bills cuz ezra thought it was only a fake necklace cuz who would even gift an expensive necklace for a child of your coworker right so he didn't think too much of it, in the end ezra regretted everything that happened and atoned for his sins.
