I feel like more so than feeling scared that the ml is going to kill her, she is more upset that he deceived her. If this is the reason, then I like the story more. Being upset your husband deceived you is a much better plotline than her thinking he is going to kill her , cuz ml showed no indication whatsoever that he would kill her (to her knowledge atleast). The one thing I HATE the most about these stories is when the FL takes the og novel as gospel and doesn't use her own judgement
