I don’t understand why people hate the FL so much? Like going into the relationship the ML treated her like trash/expendable so it makes sense she doesn’t want to confine in him. Also he hasn’t done much to gain her trust, so why should she risk everything on what seems a gamble, he hasn’t done anything that would reassure her that he would actually stay by her side or support her. He’s constantly changing his mind and really only cares about himself and wants her to conform to his ideals
