Maybe that’ll be the next series! Honestly I don’t want the author to stop writing stories in “this world” they created. Even if it can’t be a cooking competition maybe the current producer (the ml) could start a new show about singing and Gyeongchan can compete and meet his love interest there. That’d be great cause then we get to see more of the PD and his weirdness :D and maybe even little scenes with Jooyeong.

The King of Home Cooking is technically the prequel to TKOHD and you meet the pd there and he’s the 2nd love interest for the mc but overall that story is more “fun” - doesn’t have the same level of drama as this one - so his role as 2ml isn’t very serious there but you get to see moments and things he does that then make more sense when reading TKOHD. I recommend giving it a read, you don’t have to read it to follow the events in TKOHD but it’s a fun read, you’ll enjoy it :)
I see, thank you!! i think i subconsciously have a thing for 2nd ml/love interests' story in general i always like their stories/spin-offs more than the main one, but i'll give it a try i like the depth the author gives to characters

This author does a great job writing characters! So relatable!
Not that I wasn't before but it was obvious he's a second lead (and it seems crazy for the PD to lose twice in two different series lol) so I tried to tamp my expectations down, but I really enjoy their relationship together. He's the only ML who is expressive and vulnerable enough towards MC that it made MC willing to genuinely open up to him (**SPOILERS** he opens up abt his backstory to Gyeongchan on ch 61), no games no pretense nothing, just vulnerability. And it's not even due to him being young and naive bcs if they were the same age there would barely be a difference to their dynamic.
**SPOILERS** After learning about Jooyeong's backstory with Jaebom he actually threw out all of his albums and lost sleep over the fact that he's afraid Jooyeong would be reminded of his ex when interacting with him. This is the first instance we've seen of Gyeongchan showing his insecurity and it's even somewhat of a concern over Jooyeong. He wasn't even this bothered when he caught the shared kiss between PD and MC, if anything he was rather glad to find out MC's interest in men. I can't help but draw the conclusion that if Gyeongchan was in Jooyeong's life back in highschool, he wouldn't have let Jooyeong be dragged down by his ex and suffered for 10 years, friends or otherwise. And that's a necessary distinction between the three MLs.
Jooyeong has been holding him at arm's length due to their age difference, his insecurity over not being a good person, and his feelings for Jonghan. But its definitely not completely platonic. I'm not sure of what to say about the ex but seeing his current state hurts. And also gosh the cliffhanger, Jonghan looks about ready to explode. Someone who's also caught up on the latest raw ch pls TALK TO ME ╥﹏╥
