When I said I didn’t feel happy, I didn’t mean that the manhwa was bad at all. It was actually really enjoyable. It’s more of a strange feeling, maybe because it’s a red-flag story. When I read green-flag manhwa, I genuinely feel satisfied after finishing them, as long as the plot is actually interesting and not just a bunch of silly romantic scenes.

I read it, and I have to admit that it was really enjoyable. The plot was also quite unexpected, especially with the time skips. I mean, seeing the characters 10 years later and then 20 years later is pretty rare. You don’t often read manhwa with time skips like that.
But by the end, I felt kind of sad, or maybe more like a feeling of dissatisfaction? I don’t really know how to describe it—it was just a strange feeling. I actually felt really sad and was on the verge of crying during the chapter where Ilic is at the festival and realizes that everyone else has moved on with their lives while he is still at the mansion.
I also really liked the ending, especially the fact that Ilic never actually said “I love you,” because from my point of view, that wasn’t really love, but more like attachment or simply being used to someone. I also liked that Sa-yan knew that he was a toxic person and didn’t expect Ilic to love him. In a way, I think that was fair and made sense.
