Where do you see TY’s words as empty cause we don’t know if it really is. It may even be real that’s how good of an actor he is, even us readers aren’t sure if he is sincere or not. No need to immediately assume his personality, we never saw him with another partner or intentionally being a dick with any other character beside his previous sexpartner.
