YES!! For this kind of plot, they should've made the manga longer. Many realistic questions are now left answered.
And about the laying eggs part, I feel Ogeha is not at fault. She's been around only Kiji since birth and clearly doesn't have any idea of 'parents' 'family' or anything. Nor does she get when she's getting treated poorly or merely used as tool. She is simply absorbing whatever she hears.
Also, I kind of saw it coming. Cus for the past couple chapters, the author tried to show that Ogeha is possessive of Kiji. And maybe that's also why they showed that Kiji is all indifferent towards other girls even when they are interested in him.
But yeah, Ogeha does look like a child. And though I'm glad they didn't slap huge boobs on her (like most other manga), I wish they had given her a Growing Phase and made her look a bit older.
That part was unsettling for me. Cus she still looks like a child (especially when she's clothed and got a cap on)
I enjoyed this but I feel like it ended kinda unclearly?
Also the bugs wanting her to get inseminated by a human and her saying she wants to lay Kiji’s eggs was already very off-putting to me, but in the authors note they said they tried to up her ‘sex appeal’ to make her cuter…? Brother she looks like a child and a bug wtf do you mean sex appeal that’s so gross.
I felt so bad for Ogeha the whole time :( neither the bugs nor Kiji actually cared about her well being or what she wanted.. I wish I could give her lots of yummy food and a comfortable place to stay and be nice to her poor girl deserves better
