Nothing in my statement implies I think it’s a “pure romance”. I’m actively saying I do not want them together? Psychological doesn’t = equal. As a psychological drama, it is able to show an arc of acceptance and letting go of a toxic situation.
Also please speak for yourself. I’m not here to see characters crash and burn. I’m here to see them work on themselves like a good psychological drama can handle themes and character growth not just continuing down fruitless journeys? Do you really think there’s any universe where they’re together if he doesn’t work on himself and abandonment issues? Please be serious.
