I’m so sick and tired of people saying the mc doesn’t have a backbone. Like y’all clearly have never had any form of relationship rather that be with friends, family, or a lover where you were constantly being used and not treated well. It takes so much strength to stay there and not leave. Like human nature is to literally ditch a situation that you don’t like. Mc constantly had to fight that even if it isn’t explicitly stated.
Also I don’t think that y’all get that when you are with someone that long who has been with you through a lot of shit it isn’t easy to just leave. At that point they were some form of dysfunctional family to each other.
Also like it’s not like he ever didn’t stand up for himself. He told off the friend when he was called to the bar, the friend just didn’t give a fuck. That was the whole point of his character, he didn’t give a true fuck about the mc. Even after mc yelled at him, he was just shocked not remorseful.
Now, i’m not saying that mc was written perfectly or anything. There was def depth removed from his character in the manhwa but geeze louize people, learn some basic human phycology!
