That is what's so annoying. The author literally banks on rage bait covers for attention but doesn't actually deliver... it's nonsense and I won't take their "elegant statement" seriously bc sexual or not, these 2 are lovers through and through. Would either of them be ok if the other got in a relationship with someone else? I honestly do not think so at all. There is definitely that deeper emotional connection that runs deeper because it's like they are ingrained to each other through love/attachment/actual pull to give each other what they need to feel loved and accepted. -- Really, if that is not a proper romantic pair I don't know what is LMAO. It doesn't need to have sex whatsoever. Not everyone feels a need for all that sexual tension in their love life. Asexuality is a spectrum for a reason. The covers are dead as pornographic and it shirks/skews the overall delivery because it contradicts everything it's actually tryibg to stand for. Like wth

At this point (considering the author insists this is seinen, not yaoi), we have a very deep-developed relationship between the main characters. Yamadera isn't exactly capable of classic romantic love, but his obsession is beautiful, plus his need to be accepted and loved. Oooh, I like that trait of his.
Our MC is deeply confused and suffering, but the level of care and affection he has for Yamadera has also gone much deeper.
Unfortunately, we don't have unresolved sexual tension, and THIS is why I want someone to draw a doujinshi with it.
Because I look at these covers, especially the one with Yamadera holding a mirror... AND... OH FUCK, THAT'S THE SEXUAL TENSION. His gaze looks horny as hell.
