nah, the novel was a great read(for me). In fact, the manhwa is missing lots of important parts, which I liked in the novel, but yeah, I guess- they can't include everything; but that's why the impact is not as solid as in the novel. The feelings of Tae were more complex there than it is here; that's why the escape chapter felt great to read.
