True but he was the little kid in the start of the story. The one the mc save when he was in the tree. Yeah he could have confessed better but the mc didn’t seem to have a problem since he didn’t push him away or tell him to stop. He only asked for confirmation after. Asking him why he laugh if he was serious. Yeah he could have done more to help him but at the same time when he was getting bullies he just sat there so I don’t think he know how to speak up. We need more background info.
Even if he doesn't know how to speak up, if he loves the mc he should still protect him. There's being flawed and then there's watching while someone you care about gets sexually harassed. The ml is a big scary guy, he could just get between them, he wouldn't even need to say anything. Also ik the mc didn't seem to mind the whole grabbing and kissing thing but that's just the author making it seem okay, I was thinking about if that actually happened in reality it would be scary. Ik it's fiction tho... that's why I said I probably think too much about these things
I get it but like I said we don’t know anything about them. If they have more chapters to come we might learn why the black hair guy is the way he is and never stands up for himself or others. He did try his best and walked though them and that made them back off but he could have done more to help. Yes 100% if this was real life that shit would have been scary and not okay at all.
Maybe I put myself into the characters' shoes too much bc I can't help but think about how scary it would be if as far as you know, you're meeting a guy in person the first time, and he suddenly starts professing his love and grabbing you and kissing you. Like that's terrifying. Especially if you've been harassed before like the MC has. Maybe I think too much when I read these stories but I just wish the guy had shown he was serious in a different way. Also I wish he'd done more to protect him from the harassers, like don't just stand there, why are you hiding :/ don't just glare and then walk away either, like...at least ask if he's okay...
