No it was his highschool's boyfriends mom who shamed him for it, beat him and even accused him of corrupting her son. It was his main trauma and the source of his trust issues when it comes to love. Garam also was never too close with his own family. His mom remarried and his stepfather was kind of a jerk so being acknowledged and welcomed by Jeahyuk’s family must be healing for him
I’m not sure if I’m remembering correctly, but from what I remembered was that garams mom was ashamed of him being gay so he became independent of himself, so seeing his boyfriends family really welcoming him as their son’s significant other really got me. He finally has a family who accepts him for loving the man he loves and I’m gonna cry
