Stories where it ends with just one pair. There’s already thousands of stories like that. Seeing a harem story where they all get along and are willing to become a poly group is rare. I do agree that Derrick is special and they’re lucky he’s not an alpha . Also LOTS is stories have the writer as a self insert - it’s nothing new or anything to get mad about though I don’t see what makes you think Nox in particular is a self insert

No brain in that head. Derrick is right there. The other two have no substance whatsoever. They don't even hold a candle to him.
Protagonist just a self insert for the author or a fetish, bc I'm pretty sure they could've just made a series out of him and Derrick have steamy hot sex and everyone would've like it better than protagonist hot steamy sex with Derrick and the other two for "steamier" sex
