So the ML has been having hallucinations of the MC since he was a kid, and both of them somehow ended up in that shared precognition dream. Secretary Jin was always our MC, his consciousness just entered the dream at that moment in the ML’s office. The ML had probably already been stuck in it since the day MC first joined the company, which is why he wakes up on that exact day.
I don’t think the original novel MC that he mentioned with the other secretary ever really existed. He even looked for the book after waking up and couldn’t find it. It was always meant to be him, just without the advance knowledge of the ML’s interests.
Overall it was a really entertaining story. The art’s nice, the MC is super likable, and the ML is your typical CEO lead, yeah he kidnaps MC, but he treats him relatively well (and to be fair, they clearly match each other’s tastes in S&M, so we can rest our hearts). No unnecessary misunderstandings or third wheels cluttering up the relationship either. It stays focused on the two of them, and once they actually realize they fell for each other it gets surprisingly cute and sweet.
I actually liked this way more than I expected.
