each season has around 30-40 chapters, and season 3 only has 18 chapters out atm so we still got some time! (unless the author makes this season shorter than the rest but hopefully they won’t)
I felt a little like that too but idk I still like it, it's that point in the story where they start getting back for what they've been giving imo!! uyun has been nice and patient with everybody and he's a kind soul, when the door closed for him another one opened because he was always a loving and caring dude to others!! as for jinhyeong...I do feel like his thing with dad was resolved a bit too quickly but season 2 was also all about his struggles with his dad and him getting better slowly so I guess it also shows that at one point you have to make a final stance!
Idk the tone of chp 89 felt kinda final and the author had to take a few hiatuses because of health reasons, so I was wondering if s3 might be shorter given that some chapters' length was shorter too, but I seriously hope I'm wrong and that s3 has at least 10+ chapters left
Yeah I'm not saying that Uyun didn't deserve things finally going his way because he's a sweet cinnamon roll and I get that he's not the type of person who wants to dwell on negative thoughts, but the story didn't slow down at all to let him process what he was going through beyond a few tears. And Jinhyeong's character development is perfect but I feel like his confrontation with his father went incredibly well for him bc he got over the fear of his dad and said everything he was feeling and he's ready to move on with Uyun by his side, but his father was tonedeaf to his struggles and didn't understand all the damage he actually did to his son's psyche, he just thinks he left home because he's madly in love so he's still waiting for a grandchild to inherit his fortune lol (which is typical Orta's humor but still). If this was the actual conclusion to the father's arc we kinda missed out on the chance to see a permanent shift in their father and son relationship either in a good or a bad direction, depending on how he would've reacted to finding out that Jinhyeong is dating Uyun, that's what disappointed me a bit but I still enjoyed this arc a lot.
And imo the dad's storyline felt kinda rushed, even tho I liked how Jinhyeong stood up to his father for Uyun (when he never could for Songrik... Sorry songrik) it feels like everything got resolved with 0 consequences, Uyun got fired but found a new job literally the next day, Jinhyeong's father didn't even find out about them dating (and it's ridiculous atp that nobody except Eunho knows), it really feels like the story could end in a few (maybe less than 3)chapters I'm devastated... please don't let it end, I need to see them graduate, find their place in the world, get married and come out to their friends and be accepted by them (and for Eunho to tap Isak's ass again possibly lol)
