I came back here after reading "Remarried Empress" for the first time. I'm already halfway through it and I think it's a very impeccable plotline. When I compared it to this, I'm surprised they have the same author because this story is kinda messy
There are some similarities still . author just like many WebNovel authors stretched the story a lot. Tho in RE the plot premise remained simple and clear right from the get go. Here, it's the contrary.
Tbh I stopped reading RE webtoon after the main story endings but, from the novel I've read the extra contents in that one and the what ifs is as bad as the ones in this one.
To be clear I'm not defending Men of the harem. Just saying the common writing tendency of the author that you can spot in both their work:
1. Unnecessarily slow pacing. (pretty mandatory in webnovels)
2. Extra contents after extra contents (pretty normal too)
3. Poor world building.
You prob noticed in RE the magic elements is barely explained. Same for this.
4. One chapter for 1 and 2 conversations strategy.
5. Female antagonist that is attracted and attempt to get MC's man.
But,, yeah this one is considerably bad.
TOO MANY PLOTWIST and missdirect. Basically almost bad as the writing meds of Owari no Seraph
