From what I understood both of them are kinda sick and twisted so both are into it i guess. I mean zhenya does work on himself but it doesn't stop being toxic it is just both are toxic...

From what I've seen on social media, they're relationship does NOT stay toxic, in fact, Zhenya works on himself and i think talks about why he acts like this? Or we're shown why in the novel... but that's just me, if you're gonna be a bitch about dark scenes then you should've dropped it already. <3
