If the emperor found out it would be a repeat of her previous life where he essentially brainwashed her through abusive means and uses her brainwashed empty shell as his weapon of destruction and to force his tyranny against ppl including blackmailing her father to do his dirty work (assassinating those who defy him) which her father has been refusing to do
