He uses “revenge" as an excuse to do such acts even though he does have a sorta fetish for it (which kinda shows through the authors main purpose / character who mostly writes fetish type novels like this) Since he was 14 till now, Jooyeon is very obsessed with him. Like completely he is only obsessed with him. He does not care about ANYTHING else in his life. He waited 5-10 years to pay his revenge. You think its because jiwook wronged him so bad, but thats not the main reason. The true reason is because juyeon craves to have jiwook by his side. As a novel reader i can tell you, juyeon kept jiwook for 8 more years as his dog??.. and the story ended with them still being together. Behind the revenge, there is a strong desire to possess jiwook. And its not only out of hatred, but because he is so obsessed with jiwook, using revenge as an excuse to keep jiwook because he cant bear to seperate. To him, it doesnt matter how he keeps jiwook, as long as he has jiwook next to him his desires are satisfied. When jiwook gets gangraped for the last time (hasnt happened in the manhwa yet) and was hospitalized, juyeon was still so restless to leave him. Even though jooyeon swore he hated jiwook, his heart wouldn’t let him go. In the end, jiwook clung to juyeon out of stockholm syndrome and juyeon finally felt like fully possessed jiwook, which he did but in a beyond unhealthy way. (⊙…⊙ ) but yeah thats it for the novel and the psychological complex of the characters. you’ll see what i mean once the manhwa finishes the ending because jooyeon really shows his feelings through the final chapters. Btw i dont think Jiwook ever completely loves jooyeon nor reciprocate jooyeons feelings and probably never will.
