This story is pure rage bait and it’s driving me up the wall.
The MC has basically zero likable traits outside of being Eunbom’s dad. He’s immature, irresponsible, and just plain annoying. The ML is a prick who used the MC for a quick release in college, completely forgot about him for years, and now suddenly can’t stop thinking about him? How convenient.
And why even throw a 2ML into the mix just to use him as a disposable plot device with zero chance from the start? I would’ve loved a version where the MC actually moved on and found someone else in the years they were apart, but no, he has to stay living like a virgin until the ML shows up again, and only then does another guy conveniently appear to create drama.
I’m so mad that I keep reading this. Deep down I wanted this exact kind of plot… just with a more assertive and actually appealing MC. Clichés are fine if the characters feel real and well-written, but here it just feels like everyone’s following a script.
